Fifth annual bookmark design contest

The Ludden Library at Laramie County Community College will sponsor its fifth annual National Library Week Bookmark Design Contest.

The library staff wants students to tell a story in pictures about their experiences at the library. Participants should use colored pencils, markers, paints or more to create a colorful, original, hand-drawn design (no computer-generated illustrations).

Designs must be submitted by 4 p.m. Friday, April 17, on the back of an official LCCC Ludden Library National Library Week Bookmark along with a completed entry form, available at the library. Winners will be announced on Friday, May 8.

Winners will receive their choice of a pre-selected award-winning new book and have their creation reproduced on bookmarks distributed throughout LCCC’s Cheyenne campus. All designs become the property of the LCCC Ludden Library and cannot be returned.
