LCCC's rodeo team places
in first competition of 2015

Laramie County Community College’s rodeo competed for the first time in 2015 and took eighth with the men’s team with 1,192.5 points and sixth for the women’s with 630 points in Gillette March 20-22.

Reed Johnson was tied with three others for 14th place with 60 points in saddle bronc riding. Brandon Olson tied for 10th place in bull riding with 120 points, and right below him in 12th place was Chance Englebert with a score of 80 points. Englebert also took seventh place in bareback riding with 230 points.

Kalane Anders won first place with 485 points in steer wrestling. Austin Willey also placed in steer wrestling taking 12th place with a score of 95 points. 

Kelsey Knust won seventh place in team roping header with a score of 175. In team roping heeler, Levi Brott took seventh place with 160 points. Jorry Lammers took 12th place in barrel racing with 95 points.

In the breakaway roping event, Syerra Christensen took second place with a score of 320; seventh place was taken by Tawny Barrey with 150 points, and Kelsey Knust took 11th place with a score of 130 points.

Berry also took eighth in goat tying with a score of 200 points. Baily Tibbs received 85 points in goat tying, landing her in 15th place.
