Important
Campus safety director James Crosby said student’s should keep track of the serial and make numbers on personal electronics. By reporting these numbers to law enforcement officials, students increase the probability of finding the object if a thief tries to pawn the stolen item. Crosby also said it is helpful to have a photograph of items, such as necklaces, to show law enforcement officers to give them a better reference when investigating for lost items.
