TV series provide guide to survive any end-of-the-world scenario

Rumors of the end of the world have been around for a very long time. Once we pass the day the world was supposed to end, we just find another day to signify the end of the world on. Currently, it’s set for the Dec. 21.

The way I see it, there really is no way to know truly when the world will end, but it’s always good to be prepared for the worst. That’s why I watch the TV shows I do.

Based on my favorite TV shows, I’m pretty much prepared for whatever happens at the end of the world.

'Dr. Who' gives tips for alien invasion survival

Some people claim the end of the world will bring an alien invasion. Well, if it is those little green men from Mars, or more specifically, a Dalek from the planet Skaro, I have watched enough “Doctor Who” to know what I need to do in basically any sort of alien situation.

“Doctor Who,” a British Sci-Fi TV show, has been around since the 1960s and has covered pretty much everything from the standard alien coming to Earth for takeover to aliens teleporting people to them, to aliens using technology to get into our brains and control the human race. It also has some crazy time travel stuff in there, so if there is a chance to travel through time, I know how to handle that as well.

The way I see it, any scientific way the world could end (super volcanoes, machine uprising, black holes, ice age, etc.) will probably have some sort of power-crazed alien behind it making sure the human race doesn’t expand to the stars. Knowing how to work and fight against aliens is probably the best way to prepare for the apocalypse.

'Supernatural' guide to survive out-of-this-world Armageddon

Other people claim the world will end with demons taking over the world in some sort of Armageddon/Rapture. If that happens, I have seen “Supernatural” and whether it happens to be demons or other creatures like spirits, vampires, werewolves, etc, I know how to fight the fiends. Hey, becuase we’re theorizing, anything is possible right? I might as well be prepared for anything that comes my way no matter how crazy it sounds.

Zombies don't scare me

It seems though that one of the most likely outcomes for the end of the world is a zombie apocalypse. Well, I watch “The Walking Dead,” and I know exactly what to do in order to survive such a fate. Even if it isn’t zombies, because of that show I know what to do if I’m being chased by anything. Preparing for a zombie apocalypse is the same as preparing for everything else: it seems Make a strong fortress; store enough food and water, and gather lots of weapons. I think should be set for anything.

My crazy imagination just assumes because the end of the world is a big event in history, it could be possible all three (aliens, demons and zombies) will take over the world and bring about the destruction of everything. The human race has been around for a long time, and if something is going to happen, I might as well assume and prepare for it all, right?
