Second compitition shows room for improvement

Laramie County Community College’s horse judging team’s second contest was the Arabian Horse Association judging hosted in Oklahoma on Oct. 25-27. This contest is held in conjunction with the U.S. National Arabian and Half-Arabian Championship Horse Show.

At this competition contestants judge four halter classes, six performance classes and gave four sets of reasons. As individuals, Taylor Hadden placed seventh in halter and was the only one to place as an individual. As a team, LCCC placed third in halter but did not place in performance. The team placed fourth in reasons and fifth overall as a team.
