Men's basketball falls to Casper College, drops 0-5

The Laramie County Community College Golden Eagles men’s basketball team (0-5) lost another game on Tuesday at Swede Gymnasium against Casper College, 69-56.

Sophomore shooting guard Alfonzo Anderson and sophomore center Dominik Heinzl put together solid performances but it was not enough for LCCC to take the win. Anderson scored 17 points, six rebounds and three assists. Heinzl had 16 points, three rebounds and a steal. Sophomore power forward Harrison Meads had seven points and pulled down eight rebounds. Freshman point guard Da’Zhon Wyche also had three assists and three steals.

The Golden Eagles still had a big day on defense with a total of 24 turnovers but were outshot by Casper in two of three categories.

LCCC will next play at home at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, against Central Wyoming Community College in the first game of the annual Golden Eagle Classic.
