LCCC's Wind Energy Technology Department is welcoming a new instructor to its staff this semester. David Kelley said he is excited by the opportunity to work at LCCC in the Wind Energy Technology program and is impressed with the facilities at LCCC.

Kelley lived in Wyoming and worked as an electrician until he moved with his family to Colorado seven years ago. In Colorado Kelley attended Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, and earned a bachelor's degree in education.

Kelley has no prior experience in the wind energy field, but he hopes to blend his backgrounds here at LCCC. He teaches students about electricity which is central to windmill technology and a topic in which he has a lot of experience. He hopes to be able to help build up the wind energy program, and see its further development.

Kelley, his wife and two children, are happy to be returning to Cheyenne. He and his family glad to return to the small town feel and more relaxed pace in Cheyenne. "I guess we are Wyomingites at heart" he said.

Welcome David Kelley to LCCC
