VP accepts role as president

Laramie County Community College’s Student Government Association’s President Jackson Craft resigned during the winter break.
Vice President Bill Dalles took his place, and the new VP is Danielle Kienzle who is also continuing her role as treasurer.

Craft said he was too stressed and he needed to cut down his workload. Dalles said he is optimistic and excited about being the new president.

“I’m ready to get this year started,” he said. “Everyone transitioned into their positions really well.” Dalles said he hoped to keep SGA focused on the good of the students while he is the president.

Budget allocation debated

The SFAC budget allocation was a major debate topic at the Jan. 27 meeting. The senators had opposing views on how to divide the leftover student fees after allocation. The visibility committee is in charge of creating a survey to gain student input on where the fees should go. A formal list of possibilities will be presented at the Feb. 3 meeting.

SGA encouraged students to drop by the desk located in the Student Lounge to voice any ideas or concerns or to attend the meetings Tuesdays at 12:15 p.m. in the College Community Center, Room 178.
