Nathaniel Castellanos murder trial postponed
The murder trial for a man charged with murdering two Laramie County Community College students has been postponed to Aug. 14.
Nathaniel Castellanos, 32, is accused of murdering two people and injuring another during a shooting in August last year.
Laramie County District Court Judge Peter Arnold ordered a continuance ruling Castellanos must have competent counsel experienced in the defense of capital cases. Castellanos can deny this continuance because he has been given new attorneys.
Bob Rose and Mitch Guthrie, public defenders, have removed themselves from the case. They have been replaced with Kerri Mae Johnson and Rob Oldham because they both have experience with capital cases.
