SGA reviews SFAC proposals

Laramie County Community College’s Student Government Association will begin review of club and organization proposals to the Student Fee Allocation Committee on Thursday, March 5.

The deadline for clubs to apply for SFAC funding for the next academic year was Feb. 20, so the allocation process will begin soon. SGA hopes to use some of the leftover money to go to a leadership institute conference.

Sen. Tzetzi Mendez resigned from the visibility committee. President Bill Dalles said the resignation was due to “time constraints.” The sole member of the committee is now Keenan Carroll.

The Feb. 24 meeting was adjourned at 12:25 p.m. The group then went into an unannounced executive session but did not state a reason.
