Music Department plans four spring concerts

Music Program to host four events to finish out semester.

LCCC Cantorei with Cheyenne Symphony CSO Concert:

The Laramie County Community College Cantorei was invited to perform with the Cheyenne Symphony at 7:30 p.m., April 22 at the Cheyenne Civic Center. Vocal and Music instructor Beth Kean said they will be performing the Mahler Resurrection Symphony. The Cheyenne Chamber Singers, the UW Singing Statesmen, the Collegiate Chorale and the Larimer Chorale will also perform.

LCCC MusicFaculty recital:

LCCC Music Faculty will perform at 3 p.m., April 23 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. Kean said they are still in the process of getting faculty to sign up. She hopes to have a similar lineup to their previous recital.

LCCC Large Ensembles Pop Concert:

The LCCC Large Ensembles will perform at 3 p.m., April 30 at Cheyenne South High. Kean said that one of the pieces being performed will be a medley from Les Mes and a piece from A Little Night Music, Send in the Clowns.

LCCC Small Ensembles Pop Concert:

The LCCC Small Ensembles will perform at 7 p.m., May 4 in the LCCC Playhouse. Kean said the last two concerts of the year will be Large and Small Ensembles Pop Concerts. Kean said this is the second year they have put on these Pop Concerts.
