High Plains Register to host annual open mic

The High Plains Register is celebrating language by hosting Laramie County Community College’s sixth annual National Poetry Month open mic. However, since the event is a celebration of language, all performances are welcome and not limited to only poetry.

The first 10 people to read or perform at the open mic will receive a $10 LCCC Bookstore gift card. Free food, a photo booth, and door prizes will be available.

The event will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on April 24 in the LCCC Student Lounge. The event is free and open to the Cheyenne community.
