March 29

Lost property

A Campus Safety officer found a debit card in the Campus Community Center. The card was placed in the lost and found locker until its owner can be contacted.

Alarm notice

Campus Safety responded to an elevator entrapment alarm in the West Residence Hall. Upon arrival, there was no one within the elevator. Physical Plant was notified and asked to check the alarm mechanism. The director of Residential Living was also notified.

Incident report

Campus Safety completed an incident report pertaining to vehicle damage that was discovered in Parking Lot A. The vehicle was reportedly parked and unoccupied at the time of the damage.

Lost Property

A Campus Safety officer found a credit card in the LCCC Bookstore. The card was placed in the lost and found locker until its owner can be contacted.

Property damage observation

A student reported finding damage to her parked and unoccupied vehicle. The vehicle was parked in Parking Lot C. The damage did not appear to be vandalism.

Incident report

Campus Safety responded to an elevator entrapment alarm at the East Residence Hall. There was no one in the elevator at the time of arrival. This incident was referred to the director of Residence Life.

April 3

Incident report

Campus Safety completed an incident report pertaining to a vehicle accident involving a college fleet vehicle. The accident occurred off-campus (Interstate 25 near the Colorado border).

Welfare check

Campus Safety, Residence Life, and the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office conducted a welfare check at the North Residence Hall.

Recovered property

A student took possession of her debit card from the lost and found locker.

Incident report

Campus Safety completed an incident report pertaining to an individual who was bucked off of a horse in the arena.

April 7

Lost property

Campus Safety found a backpack and its contents within the Crossroads area. The owner was contacted by an officer. The owner retrieved his property April 10.

Lost property

A faculty member found what appears to be college-owned keys in the Fine Arts Building. Attempts by Campus Safety to contact an owner were initially unsuccessful. On April 10, Campus Safety was able to identify the faculty member who had been originally issued the college keys. The keys were returned to that faculty member.

Medical emergency

Campus Safety and Laramie County Fire District 1 personnel responded to the Fine Arts Building and provided medical assistance to an individual who had reported falling.

Lost property

A faculty member reported a personal cell phone missing. The Laramie County Sheriff’s Office was requested and the deputy completed an incident report. The phone was missing from the Career and Technical building.

Incident report

Campus Safety completed an incident report pertaining to two individuals who were bucked off of horses in the Arena.

Welfare check

Campus Safety assisted counseling staff with a student welfare check in the Pathfinder Building.

Incident report

Campus Safety and the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office completed incident reports pertaining to a two-vehicle traffic accident without injuries. The accident occurred at the intersection of Parking Lot L and J.O. Reed Drive.

April 13

Medical emergency

Campus Safety responded to a request for medical assistance outside of the Pathfinder Building. The officer and paramedics provided assistance and the individual was transported for additional medical evaluation.

April 16

Suspicious activity

Campus Safety and a Laramie County Sheriff’s Department Deputy checked on two suspicious individuals who were parked in a vehicle on campus east of the Pathfinder Building. Both individuals checked negative for criminal background or activity.

April 17

Incident report

Campus Safety completed an incident report pertaining to a report of injury to an individual at the Albany County Campus. The incident reportedly occurred on April 17 but was not reported to Campus Safety until April 18.

April 18

Incident report

Campus Safety completed an incident report pertaining to items having been removed without authorization from a desk within the Pathfinder Building.

April 18

Medical emergency

Campus Safety responded to a request for assistance involving a medical incident that reportedly occurred in the Student Services area. Laramie County Fire District 1 and AMR ambulance personnel also responded. The subject was transported to the emergency room by private vehicle.
