Cheyenne resident Elizabeth Dillow’s photograph “Reflection times four” was named best photo for the fourth annual “Worldwide Photo Walk” held Oct. 1 in downtown Cheyenne.

The photograph featured reflections in a downtown pizzeria storefront window of Dillow and her three daughters, Grace, Bridget and Madeline, who were also photographing as part of the event.

More than 50 photographers participated in the local event sponsored by Laramie County Community College’s mass media/multimedia department.

The entries of locals Stephanie Maas, Doug Jackson, Nicole Cyr and Jim Taylor were named honorable mention.

J.L. O’Brien, multimedia instructor, said the event is designed to bring together a group of photographers on one day for a short period of time to shoot a specific area. Simultaneously, similar walks took place around the world that weekend. This year, nearly 28,000 photographers walked in more than 1,000 locations.
