Golden Eagles score more wins

Laramie County Community College’s No. 14-ranked women’s soccer team had two road wins in Sheridan and Powell Oct. 10-11.
On Oct. 11, LCCC, matched up against Northwest College (4-8-1), got the win with a score of 4-1. Northwest scored first early in the first half, but the Eagles answered with four straight goals. Two goals came from Brenda Vazquez, one from Brittney Crank, and another from Halee Moore.

On Oct. 10, LCCC faced Sheridan College (0-11) and got a definitive win over the Generals with a score of 5-0. Two goals came from Morgan Wyant, another from Megan Campbell, and one more from Melissa Mondragon.

Goalies Madison Duffin and Jessie Bradley split time playing in that match, and both were perfect at helping the Golden Eagles get the shutout win.

LCCC (10-3) will play at Western Nebraska Community College (4-7-1) on Oct. 15. Then, on Oct. 18, LCCC will be at home to take on St. Louis Community College (2-9). Finally, on Oct. 19, the Golden Eagles will be on the road again to face No. 1-ranked Iowa Western Community College (11-0-1).
