Women's soccer team awaits national ranks

It was a scoring frenzy for the LCCC women’s soccer team on Friday, Oct. 16, as it clobbered Western Wyoming 12-0.

The game stood out as the Golden Eagles scored more goals than any other match all season. Jemma House led the team in scoring with a whopping six goals. The Golden Eagles might be as confident as they’ve been all season as they are now on a four-game winning streak and have outscored their opponents 31-1 during that stretch.

LCCC ends the regular season with a 12-4-2 record and a 10-2 conference record. The Golden Eagles will wait and see where they rank heading into the postseason, and they could be nationally ranked after their recent success.
