CAMPUS SAFETY INCIDENT REPORTS

Oct. 7

Traffic accident

Campus Safety completed an incident report pertaining to a two-vehicle traffic accident at the intersection of Lot B and Tom Bauman Loop. Fire District 1 and the Laramie County Sheriff’s Department also responded and completed reports.

Campus Safety completed an incident report pertaining to a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Parking Lot RW.

Incident report

A college fleet vehicle was involved in a two-vehicle traffic accident off campus. Campus Safety and the Wyoming Highway Patrol completed incident/accident reports.

Incident report

Campus Safety completed an incident report pertaining to vandalism in a restroom in the College Community Center (damaged towel dispenser).

Oct. 10

Incident report

Campus Safety completed an incident report pertaining to a damaged college fleet vehicle. The exact location where the damage occurred is unknown.

Incident report

Campus Safety completed an incident report pertaining to some safety concerns at the Recreations and Athletics Complex.

Oct. 12

Returned property

The Cheyenne Police Department turned over some lost/found property to Campus Safety. It is being stored in the departmental lost/found locker until its owner can be contacted. On Oct. 13, Campus Safety was able to identify the owners of these lost/found items and return their property to them.

Oct. 14

Medical incident

Campus Safety assisted a student with first aid. The injury occurred off campus while the student was en route to class.

Incident report

Campus Safety completed an incident report concerning accidental damage to a LCCC backhoe. The damage reportedly occurred in the garden area near the Agriculture building.

Alcohol violation

Campus Safety assisted Residence Life staff with an alcohol violation in the Residence Halls.

Oct. 19

Medical incident

Campus Safety assisted American Medical Response and Fire District 1 personnel in providing medical aid to an individual at Flexible Industrial Technology.

Oct. 19

Incident report

A student reported that someone removed his wallet from within his unattended backpack that he had left in the Recreations and Athletics Complex multi-purpose room. Campus Safety completed an incident report and the subject was referred to the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office for follow-up.

Oct. 20

Vehicle accident

A Campus Safety Officer observed the driver of a vehicle strike a parked car in the Health Science parking lot (Lot A). The officer was able to obtain the license plate number of the vehicle, which proceeded to leave the scene. The officer called the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office and the driver of the suspect vehicle later returned to campus. The Sheriff’s Office and LCCC Campus Safety completed investigatory reports.

Oct. 27

Incident report

Campus Safety completed an incident report pertaining to damage to a student’s vehicle. The complainant was uncertain as to the location of the incident. It could have occurred while the vehicle was parked in Parking Lot M or possibly off-campus.

Campus Safety completed an incident report pertaining to a damaged locker in the Recreations and Athletics Complex men’s locker room.

Nov. 1

Welfare payment

Campus Safety, assisted by a Deputy from Laramie County Sherriff’s Office, conducted a welfare check in the Residence Hall.

Campus Safety completed an incident report pertaining to a damaged locker in the Recreations and Athletics Complex men’s locker room.

Nov. 3

Found property

Campus Safety logged a found item into the departmental Lost/Found locker. The item was found outside of the Health Science Building.
