College volleyball is now 24-6 overall on the season

The No. 20 ranked Laramie County Community College volleyball team is now 24-6 overall on the season after defeating Casper College Friday, Oct. 21, and Eastern Wyoming College on Saturday, Oct. 22.

On Friday, Oct. 21, the Golden Eagles deafeated Casper College in three sets, 25-12, 25-19 and 25-20. Sophomore Preston Lienemann led the way with 12 kills, while Sophomore Kiley Ridgway got nine kills. Freshman Kyra Brandt tallied 22 assists. Sophomore Tori Passarelli led with 16 digs, and Linenemann made nine digs. Ridgway and Madi Taylor also made three digs.

Saturday, Oct. 22. was sophomore day for the Golden Eagles. They defeated Eastern Wyoming College in four sets, 25-15, 23-25,25-18 and 25-16. Lienemann led the Golden Eagles with 11 kills, while Brandt tallied a team-high of 24 assists. Carlee Morrison and Elizabeth Clark both made nine kills, while Taylor made seven kills. Clark and Ridgway both made a total of five block assists, while the team recorded 21 block assists.

The Golden Eagles’ next game is at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28 at Northwest College.
