During the second half of September, Laramie County Community College’s volleyball team spent most of its time on the road playing four matches and a tournament.

After starting 0–2 against Northwest College, Sept. 16, and Central Wyoming College, Sept. 17, on the road, the team was able to regroup and play “in the moment,” coach Darren Buckner said.

The Golden Eagles got things going at Air Force Prep, Sept. 19, where they won the match 3-1. The Golden Eagles, fresh off the win, then went into the WYO-Braska tournament and took two of the four matches

The final away match against Eastern Wyoming College ended with the Eagles losing in game five, 12–15.

Overall, the Golden Eagles lost the match 3-2 by scores of 23-25, 25-18, 25-17, 22-25 and 12-15.

After the road trip in which the team finished 3-5, the Golden Eagles returned home, just in time to start October with five straight home matches, starting with a match against Dawson Community College Sept. 30.

The four remaining home matches will be in early October against Sheridan College, Oct. 1; Central Wyoming College, Oct. 7; Northwest College, Oct. 8; and Air Force Prep, Oct. 10.
