The Laramie County Community College men’s soccer team won both weekend games against Sheridan College on Oct. 9 and Northwest College on Oct. 10. The men beat Sheridan 2-0 with Rafael Munoz scoring both goals in the game. It was a great team effort with the defense not allowing anything from Sheridan’s offense.

The Golden Eagles also beat Northwest College on Oct. 10, 4-1. Munoz again led LCCC to victory scoring three goals. Munoz now has 13 goals on the season with Tristan White scoring a second-best of 8 goals. Munoz also leads the team with seven assists.

The Golden Eagles now have an overall record of 10-5 and a conference record of 5-2. LCCC will play Western Nebraska College at home on Wednesday, Oct. 14, and visit Western Wyoming College in Rock Springs on Friday, Oct. 16, to finish regular-season play.
