Men's soccer team wins fourth straight game

The Laramie County Community College’s men’s soccer team won its fourth straight game, beating Western Nebraska College 4-0 on Friday, Sept. 25, and Northwest Kansas Tech College 6-1 on Saturday, Sept. 26. There was little competition for the Golden Eagles as they dominated throughout both games. Freshman forward Rafael Munoz was all over the field in both games scoring three goals and three assists in weekend action. The men have an overall record of 7-4. The offense has vastly improved since the beginning of the season as shots on goal are increasing, which, ultimately, are turning into more and more goals for the Golden Eagles. The men will have two important conference matchups on Oct. 3-4 against Trinidad State Junior College in Trinidad, Colo., and Otero College in La Junta, Colo.
