LCCC volleyball team improves score

The Laramie County Community College volleyball team is now 15-5 on the season after upsetting No. 16 Eastern Wyoming College in four sets on Tuesday in Torrington. The Golden Eagles won 25-23,25-22,26-28 and 25-20.

Preston Lienemann had 14 kills and 15 digs while Madi Taylor had 11 kills and eight blocks. Kiley Ridgway also got herself seven kills and seven blocks. Carlee Morrison had team-high 17 digs and she added five blocks for herself. Kyra Brandt had a team-high 25 assists with six digs. Makenzie DiGesualdo also had eight assists, five digs and two aces, while Tori Passarelli had 16 digs.

The Golden Eagles next game is at 7 p.m. against Western Wyoming on Friday, Sept. 30, at home.
