College will host halloween party Oct. 31.

Additional events include, midterm madness, paint your stress away
and fuel for finals

Campus Activities Board members have decided on the fall semester activities. Each member of CAB is required to come up with an event, then Zeke Sorenson, program manager for activities and multicultural engagement, helps the student put together the idea.

The upcoming events are:

Alcohol awareness on Oct. 19-20.

There will be a resource fair on Wednesday, Oct. 19, and a presentation on alcohol awareness on Oct. 20. There will be a dance that night.

Midterm madness on Oct. 25.

The event will include various activities for handling stress.

Family fun night/halloween party on Oct. 31.

The college will host different stations for children to participate in.

Anthropology fair on Nov. 8.

There will be activities pertaining to different cultures and the tools they utilize.

CAB and Phi-Theta Kappa on Nov. 14-17.

There will be different events on how the media works. There will also be a showing of “Embrace.”

Paint your stress away on Nov. 30.

There will be an artist at the college to teach students how to draw.

Fuel for finals on Dec. 9.

It will be an event to teach students how other cultures celebrate the holidays.

Throughout November CAB will also be sponsoring the Start Giving Trees Campaign. This allows students to donate gifts for children. For more information, contact Zeke Sorenson at or at 778-1119
