Student's post-9/11 photos to be featured in gallery

The Clay Paper Scissors Gallery and Studio will present “New York City: Rising from the Ashes” in honor of the 10-year anniversary of 9/11 and will feature photographs taken four years after 9/11 by Karen Cotton. Cotton, a former feature writer at the Wyoming Tribune Eagle, is now a student at Laramie County Community College.

Situated at 1506 Thomes Ave. Suite B, the artist/opening reception will be on Thursday, Sept. 8, from 5–8 p.m. It will then be open to the public until Oct. 23. The exhibit will also be featured on Oct. 13 at Art Design and Dine, Cheyenne’s monthly art tour.
