Volleyball team has bad start to new season

The Laramie County Community College volleyball team had a tough night against Casper College Sept. 4, falling in their regular season opener in Casper.

The Golden Eagles’ head coach Darren Buckner said he believed Casper played great while LCCC played terribly. LCCC lost in three sets 15–25, 20–25 and 19–25. The lone highlight of the night for LCCC came from Kelsey Ross, who hit .467 percent on 15 attempts.

The team now must refocus very quickly as it prepares to travel to the Southern Idaho Tournament starting Sept. 7 in Twin Falls.
