Earlier, the new officers had a successful international convention where the LCCC chapter received the highest five-star rating for the ninth consecutive year, according to Arshi Rizwani-Nisley, LCCC developmental English instructor and Phi Theta Kappa regional coordinator.

The region consists of 22 chapters in Wyoming and Nebraska. For the ninth year, LCCC has had at least one regional officer. In 2013-2014, Ashley Olson was regional vice president of Wyoming, and for 2014–2015 Myers was elected regional vice president.
