Student group honors veterans

Veterans’ Day will not be overlooked on the Laramie County Community College campus.

The American flag will be raised by the LCCC chapter of Student Veterans of America at 10 a.m., Nov. 11, north of the Student Services Building.

Coffee and doughnuts will be provided in the student lounge by members of the SVA as well as students of a psychology course. At 10:15 a.m. the student lounge will also be the site of guest speakers brought in by the SVA.

Students of “General Psychology” 1000-103 have created a “wall” of remembrance in honor of those who have served in the U.S. armed forces. The “wall” will be on display Nov. 11 in the student lounge.

The SVA will also host a membership drive in the student lounge between 8 a.m.–4 p.m.
