CenturyLink sponsors STEM Camp

Laramie County Community College has received a $5,000 grant from Century Link to host the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Camp. On Saturday, Nov. 3, LCCC will host the STEM Camp, a fun yet educational, exploration camp for girls in sixth- through eighth-grades, where they are educated on the STEM careers for females and interact with role models in each field. The camp will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the LCCC Training Center. Pre-registration is required, with a fee of $10 a student. To register, call 778-1236.
