My name is Cody Fox. This is my fourth semester back in school and my third as an editor of wingspan. I was born and raised in Cheyenne Wyoming. I spent my high school years at Cheyenne East where I played sports, rode BMX bicycles and played guitar. I graduated in 2002 and went to work for my uncle at HFJ Masonry. I went back to school in the fall of 2005 at Laramie County Community College but didn’t really have a reason to be here. I worked for various places after that including but not limited to, Wyoming State Forestry, Franks International and Noble Oil Field services. I was laid off in the summer of 2015 and decided I was done with back breaking labor. When I came back to LCCC I didn’t really know what I was doing or where I was headed. I began volunteering for the Wingspan and was asked to be the co-editor toward the end of the semester. By being involved in Wingspan I hope to learn better investigative skills, brush up on pointing out logical inaccuracies in bad arguments, learn publishing skills, learn interview skills, continue learning new photography skills and help ad to my resume for future job opportunities.
