Floyd Whiting

News Editor

Flag Raising I was born in Afton, Wyoming. My father was a heavy machine operator with Smokey Canyon Mine. I have been interested in media and reporting the news since the 2000 election. I worked an apprenticeship with the Rocket Miner, I was the news editor at another college paper for two years. I worked in radio-broadcasting for TownSquare Media, reporting the news live twice a day for KOWB 1290 am, as well as covering the Albany County elections, delivering coverage, analysis, and results via live radio broadcast. I view journalism ethics as vitally important. In this day and age, the integrity of the media is under constant scrutiny and it is the duty of the upcoming journalists to uphold the highest of ethics while reporting the news.
