Flag Raising

I was born and raised in Yoder, Wyoming, where I went to kindergarten through 12th grade in the same building with all of the same people. After graduation it was time for a change. I attended Central Wyoming College for a semester but decided that school wasn’t for me, so I enlisted in the active duty Army. The Army took me to Fort Drum, N.Y., where I really learned what cold weather was. Missing home, I decided that after my contract was up I would try this school thing out again, and now I am living in Cheyenne with my awesome little girl and here at Laramie County Community College working on my degree in Mass Media. I am currently in my second semester in this degree and really excited about getting to start learning more about photography. Pursuing this degree and working for Wingspan, I hope to truly get immersed into the world of photography and journalism.
